O! Sanguinal roots thou art as many
As the leaves clustered in the guava tree
Renowned are you who helped me
Sculpture my character.
I do obtain that your genetic founts
Are kaleidoscopic:
Malayan
Chinese
European
Northern ethnicities
Southern tribes
Rich gentry
Humble publicans
Moralists
Sinners.
I behold you all in wonderment.
Even as I fly my memories of you
Are more than those treasures
Deposited in bullion banks
Thou art my cargo of treasures.
