IN FLIGHT (Poem 14)

Erle Frayne Argonza y Delago

I am now staring at the Sky.
I am now glancing at the Ocean Floor.
I am now listening to the Wind’s melodious tunes.
I am now hanging by my Nests.
Penetrating the Sky,
Ocean Floor, Wind,
Is my

Unquenched thirst—
That moving Will perching
On my Nest,

Ready to offer me
To the magnanimous Hemispheres
Of grand Planet Earth.

Ready to plunge me down albeit softly
Right below to surface where Duty calls.
Duty catches me
With soft palms
Of generosity.

Gladden myself!
