Friends I’ve had aplenty
Enemies I’d none
Throughout my life courses.
Farewell, friends, farewell!
Your names are forever stored
In my memory banks floating
Always in the sphere of the conscious.
Friends! You’ve made possible
My Self’s first crawlings
As root of the Earth. Once
Rooted I’m enabled
To spread my branches
Outward to eagerly embrace
The Sky and Kosmos.
I’ll jettison skyward so soon
You’ve all inspired me to fly.
I’ll sojourn my destined path so soon
You are in my bosom enamored eternally.
