Igorotlandia d’ Cordillera is one whole story yet to tell
For this enthused soul who climbed up those fiery lands
Beginning in Summer 77 in Baguio the summer capital
Onwards to 81 in work visitations of Ifugao
Roll over to work monitors of Kalinga & Apayao
Likewise visiting Ilongots of Quirino their siblings
Till 2000 when I revisited Ifugao on my way to Sagada
There to communicate with the ancestors
And say my own appreciation for Bulol of the astrals
Cordillera is an awesome land like Marlboro country
Growing pines interspersed with undulating mounts
Blended with fjords and a nurturing hospitable people
Home likewise to gold and treasures beneath the mounts
Cordillera is amongst the guardian ranges of Filipinas
Standing tall across hundreds of kilometers to frown
Upon all predatory greedy people and bad folks
Its forests and rivers narrate history like mute beings
Of a mighty people scions of ancient Malayan Mu
Turbulence yet may come a couple of years from now
Yet Cordillera will stand still and tall
Beacon of ancient Mu and future Filipiniana

MANILA IMPERIALISM?

Then was I a leader among teachers
In the 90s decade it came this tall task
For which called was I to make rounds
Of mentors ‘round the country to glee
That aura of mine inspires them to reveree
Then came this news conference in Bacolod
Where I was introduced as man from Manila
Then exclaimed the tv man to shame
That I am agent of Manila imperialism cold!
Shocked as I was and infuriated likewise
Did I regain control of my composure
I was a leader among teachers across the land
Not a local agent of Manila nor its fens
Yet surely there are those who build discord
From petty and asinine viewpoints they breed
Unable to see the world in larger clime
They will perish with shame and dirty slime

O! Beloved Sioux!
Lakota, Dakota, and kin tribes all
For which my Sirian nation had
The calling to co-create with Prime Creator.
Lords of Light sing praises for thee
And entrust to you anew the mission
To rechart the noble polities forthcoming.
Let me likewise sing praises to you
O! Beloved Sioux!
O! Noble nation of sturdiest built
As sturdy as all the buffalos yon North
Thou art. Standing tall till many eons
Thou art still. Mighty tall prepared you
Are for the new calling.
Magnanimous as bumble bee
That nourished us with sweetest honey
Thou art. Please be so till times to come
For Divine Justice had listened to thy woes
And your sacrifices rewarded finally
With the New Calling.
Be compassionate and be one people
That listens and cares like the Holy Mother
Unto those who are of more marginal state
For they shall put their trust in thy bosom.
Praise be to thee o! Magnanimous Sioux
This once audacious Sitting Bull is always
With you. One with you still I am
Ra sings praises to thee like unto
Billions of robins in grand chorus.
