Erle Frayne Argonza y Delago
With childlike wonderment
Jaws drop down to the ground
I often exude with innocence
And colossal enchantment
Upon sights of huge edifices
Laced with marvelous architecture
They overwhelm the Renaissance’s art
With genius and grandeur displayed
O’ creative wiz straight from Higher Space
Culling esthetics from invisible spheres
But now I begin to feel weary
Over so many megalithic edifices
Behind the surface I see
Megalomaniacs driven
By greed and powerlust
Madness could masquerade indeed
Akin to an enthused participant
Of Bacolod’s mascara festival
